What does a flashing amber light on a moving vehicle mean?

Explanation: Flashing amber lights warn of slow-moving vehicles. Blue beacons are used on emergency vehicles requiring priority passage through junctions and traffic. Green beacons indicate doctors' cars. Vehicles that might use amber beacons are usually large, but sometimes small (e.g. powered vehicles used by disabled people). You'll sometimes find large vehicles with flashing amber lights involved in roadworks, local amenities, and road maintenance.
